Hadley Preschool Families are invited to Universal Kids Friday, October 23rd from 6:00-8:00 pm for Family Night. Bring the whole family for a Pizza Dinner, provided by Friends of Hadley Preschool, and play time. The cost is $4 per child, please RSVP. Sign up in the preschool if you can bring a snack, drink or dessert to share. Please, store bought items only. Friends of Hadley Preschool will also be there with T-shirts available to purchase. Ask anyone who attended last year, this event is a lot of fun for the whole family. Hadley Preschool has opened enrollment for the ’09 – ’10 academic year. Families with children over the age of 2 years 9 months and under 5 years should contact the preschool director, Dianne Murray, to arrange a tour or receive an enrollment application. Families can elect between morning or afternoon schedules, full-day schedules. Flexibility is also offered insofar as one day or five days/week. A select number of scholarships are available for eligible families.

Families from Hadley and surrounding communities are encouraged to apply quickly as slots are granted on a first come, first serve basis.

Many thanks to all who sold or purchased tickets. You raised more than $9,000 in long- and short-term support for the Hadley Preschool! While Saturday’s rain put the damper on the preschoolers’ bikeathon a warm and cheery crowd gathered in Hadley’s Goodwin Library on Saturday for the raffle ticket drawings.While preschoolers took turns holding the raffle jar, Representative John Scibak pulled each of the winning tickets for an appreciative audience. First prize winner, Sandy Markowski, was notified by cell phone. Second prize winner Charlene Vinton was present. Third prize winner, Judy Loebel, generously donated her winnings back to Friends of Hadley Preschool. All three winners had a child or young relative in the preschool.
